My absolute favourite is the Yorkshire pudding with beef roast, and the bangers and mash is glorious too. Dinner + a drink for $15 is a good deal, but also an awesome place to meet new people.

You and your friends will sit along the long table with strangers and maybe even be in the midst of a beer wave. Good food, good atmosphere and good value.

We know that fashion styles always come in cycles and when it comes to ties we've seem them wide, skinny, with stripes, solid, with patterns, short and long.

Knotheory though, well, they've just gone out and completely re-designed what we know of ties -- creating badass ties! When I saw designer Tanya Huang's latest collection -- Duello -- I knew I was going to become a girl who wears ties to work. I got the Duel 1: Break Ice tie (http://www.knotheory.com/tie-101) and let me tell you, it definitely got attention at work.

What I love about her ties is that they are easy to put on. I didn't have to watch a youtube video on how to knot my tie. Her Link Closure Knot is a triangular piece which forms a perfect four-in-hand knot. And can come in different colours, so you can customize your tie to match your iPhone cover.

I can't wait to get more Knotheory ties and make my suits funkified.

Okay, so John Fluevog himself isn't walking in this store like you might find in the Vancouver gastown location. And the store isn't as big as the gastown location either. But the Toronto Fluevog store has a great spirit. I got a hug and a high five when I finally settled on my orange pair of Coffee Macchiato shoes! I think I was in the store for close to an hour, trying on almost EVERY pair of shoes available in my size.

This is my first pair of Fluevog shoes and I am in love. Not only are these the very first pair of heels I've ever had that are comfortable, but the orange colour adds the perfect funkiness level to my black suit look.

These shoes might be a bit pricy, but the quality is definitely there. The only downfall is that these shoes are so beautiful and the shade of orange so bright, it got me thinking of candy! I must have some candy now! http://www.somethinglemon.com/?p=538

Usefulness

At Osoyoos and wondering where to go for that funky modern outfit that will supplement your wine tasting experience? Visit Queen's Boutique. They carry Canadian designers such as Jackpot and In Wear, and one of a kind jewelry. I was surprised to find that they also carry the line of Parcell purses and wallets. Although a small store, they carry a wide variery of things and a nice stop in between wine tastings.

Usefulness

Not only does Nk'Mip produce great tasting wine, but its patio is also positioned to overview the most spectacular view -- so beautiful! At a recent trip to Osoyoos in early September I visited the Nk'Mip winery and tasted their Riesling. It was light and paired perfectly with their meat platter (which by the way had the most delicious tomatoes). Oh, and to top the delicousness, I had THE BEST CHEESECAKE I have ever had in my life. It was so light and tasy! And I found out the chef's secret: garbanzo beans in the cheese mixture! You must try the cheesecake. We also tried their creme caramel and it was very tasty as well. Overall, I completely enjoyed my Nk'Mip experience -- great relaxed conversation with friends, looking at a beautiful view, while eating delicious food. What more could we ask for?

On a recent trip to Osoyoos I was delighted to visit the Silver Sage winery. From the moment we entered the winery we were greeted warmly and encouraged to try all the wines (most wineries only allowed one or two tastings of their select wines). The tasting experience didn't just include sipping some vino and included complementary recipes, wine pairing suggestions, as well as stories that brought some fun around the wine. For me the most notable wine was the chili! All the while I was thinking this wine will go well with dark chocolate.

I left the winery feeling happy, uplifted, and excited about the wine purchases that I had made. I bought their signature Gewurtzraminer Sage and can't wait to try it with some butternut squash ravioli. It was a nice surprise to also discover that you can order their wine online.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the winery and then later on sipping the wines that I had purchased.
