geni.com sets you up to enter as much personal and family info as possible. Then they take it over and use it to lure in new paying members. they give you a free account but it is cheapo! and then they use hints to get you to ask for more info...suddenly you cant have it unless you pay money...and its probably stuff they stole from someone elses tree. They actually have you add profiles then they take over the profiles and all the information you have added to them and theres not a thing you can do about it. your just screwed. stay away at all costs unless you want your blood pressure to skyrocket. i got so mad at what they did to me my nose burst out bleeding! no joke! Someone you dont know will be able to control the pictures you added of your own children which you kept private! its a scam people!
